The Sydney Southwest Private surgical ward comprises of 45 beds on two levels and cares for patients across a wide range of specialties, including:

Please be aware that there may be times when visitors are asked to wait while patient care is taking place.

Nursing staff will show visitors the most appropriate place to wait.

Parents of patients aged under 15 may visit at any time and are welcome to stay overnight.

All patients and their loved ones are encouraged to be actively involved in their care planning and treatment.

We have patient information in all rooms, with notepads for you to write any questions or concerns that you may have for your treating doctor or nurse.
